Courtenay Place lightboxes There’s 16 of these lightboxes on a central Wellington street. Every 6 months a group of artists is invited by the City Gallery to fill them. I submitted two drawings as part of a collection of text-based works timed to coincide with the Typeshed11 Typography Symposium in February 2009 (organised by my friend the typographer Catherine Grifffiths). I did this instead of going out and One day all this will be yours (which is actually my will, but I was cunningly unspecific).

Unity Books Unity Books in Wellington is my favourite independent bookstore. They asked me to design a bookmark and they got 5, because I love them.

Further convictions pending I was invited to contribute to a show of emerging artists at the Hirschfeld Gallery Wellington. The title of the show was Further Convictions Pending, borrowed from a collection of poetry by Vincent O’Sullivan. I drew the title, and had it installed in inky black vinyl across one corner of the gallery, spanning nearly 5.5 metres in width. April 2010.

Paul & Kate get married! Hooray, the little beauties.
